These terms apply to your use of drivebot.co. DriveBot is operated by WebTailor, based in Ontario, Canada. By using the site you agree to them.

About this site

This site describes DriveBot and the platforms we build. Product information here is general. Products marked “coming soon” are in development and their features may change. Sponsored features sold on our Get Featured page are offered on the terms in Sponsored features below.

Our platforms have their own terms

AuctionCalc and Motor IQ are DriveBot platforms, but each runs its own website, accounts, plans and support, under its own terms of service and privacy policy. Subscriptions, billing, refunds and support for those products are handled on their own sites:

Sponsored features bought on drivebot.co are covered by this page, not by those sites.

Calculators, estimates and vehicle data shown on our platforms are tools to help you decide. They are not financial, legal or mechanical advice, and you are responsible for your own buying decisions.

These terms apply when you buy a feature or package on our Get Featured page. Prices are in USD and are shown on that page. Payment is taken by Stripe when you check out. Our Sponsored Content Terms and Refund Policy give the full detail.

What a feature includes

  • One sponsored article of about 1,000 words about your brand, written from your brief.
  • Up to 2 links to your site, marked rel="sponsored", and 1 brand image or logo.
  • A clear “Sponsored” label on the article.
  • 30 days in our Featured slot on the home page and blog. The article then stays live for at least 12 months.
  • A first draft within 7 business days after we receive your complete brief, with 1 revision round. A feature can be scheduled up to 12 months ahead.

Packages include the number of features shown for each package. Each feature in a package follows the terms above.

Add-ons

  • Rush: first draft within 3 business days after we receive your complete brief.
  • Extra 600 words: about 1,600 words in total.
  • Extra 30 days: 30 more days in the Featured slot.

Refunds

  • Any feature not yet published gets a full refund.
  • Once a feature is published, it cannot be refunded.
  • Packages with more than one feature are assessed feature by feature.
  • Add-ons are refunded together with their feature.

Client work

Websites shown as client builds are displayed with permission. Their content and services belong to their owners, and DriveBot is not responsible for them.

Content and intellectual property

The DriveBot name and logo, and the text, graphics and code on this site, belong to DriveBot or are used with permission or under licence. Product names and logos of other companies belong to their owners. You may not copy or reuse our content without written consent.

Links to other sites

We link to our own platforms and to other websites, including sponsors. Sponsored links are labelled; see our Disclosure. We are not responsible for the content or practices of sites we do not control.

No warranty and limitation of liability

This site is provided “as is”. To the fullest extent permitted by law, DriveBot is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the site, and DriveBot’s total liability for any claim about a sponsored feature is limited to US$100. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there.
