Sponsored Content Terms

What a DriveBot sponsored feature includes, how it is labelled, and the terms that apply when you buy one.

These terms apply when you buy a sponsored feature or package from our Get Featured page. DriveBot is operated by WebTailor, based in Ontario, Canada. They sit alongside our Terms of Use and Refund Policy.

What one feature includes

  • One sponsored article of about 1,000 words, written by our editorial desk from your brief.
  • Up to 2 links to your site, marked rel="sponsored", and 1 brand image or logo.
  • A clear “Sponsored” label on the article.
  • 30 days in our Featured slot. The article then stays live for at least 12 months.
  • A first draft 7 business days after we have your complete brief, and 1 revision round.
  • Scheduling up to 12 months ahead, on a weekday release date we agree with you.

Packages include the number of features shown on the Get Featured page, and each feature follows these terms.

Add-ons

  • Rush: first draft 3 business days after we have your complete brief.
  • Extra 600 words: about 1,600 words in total.
  • Extra 30 days: 30 more days in the Featured slot.

Labelling and editorial standards

Every sponsored article is labelled “Sponsored” and its partner links are marked as sponsored, so readers always know it is paid content. Our editorial desk writes the article and keeps final say over the wording. We follow our Editorial Policy: we fact-check claims, we do not publish statements we cannot support, and we do not present a sponsor’s product as independent advice.

We may decline a brief, or ask you to change it, if it is misleading, unlawful, infringes someone else’s rights, or does not suit an automotive audience. If we decline before publishing, you get a full refund for that article.

Your materials

You confirm that you have the right to the logo, images, facts and links you send us. You give DriveBot permission to use them in your article and in posts that promote it for as long as the article is live.

Refunds

Full refund for any article not yet published; no refund once it is published; packages are assessed article by article; add-ons are refunded with their article. Details are in our Refund Policy.

Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, DriveBot’s total liability for any claim about a sponsored feature is limited to US$100. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Governing law and contact
