Editorial Policy
Last updated: October 20, 2026
DriveBot writes about automotive software, buying, ownership and the tech changing how we drive. This page explains how we research, write, label and correct what we publish.
Accuracy
- We check facts, figures and prices against primary or authoritative sources, and list our sources at the end of each article.
- We separate facts from opinion and say when something is an estimate.
- Our articles are general information, not financial, legal or mechanical advice.
How articles are written
Every article is reviewed by an editor before it is published. Some articles are drafted with the help of AI tools; those are fact-checked and edited by our team and carry the DriveBot Team byline.
Sponsored content and our network
- Paid features are labelled “Sponsored”, and links in them use
rel="sponsored". Sponsors never pay for the conclusions of our editorial articles. - DriveBot is the head of an automotive network. Links to our own sites, such as AuctionCalc and Motor IQ, are marked “From our network”.
- Ads are labelled “Ad” or “Sponsored”.
